How Capisco screens providers
Before a provider is shortlisted for you, we verify their identity, their regulatory compliance for their trade, and we review their descriptions. Here is exactly what we look at.
1 — Verified identity
We know who is sending you their proposal.
Every listed provider supplies, upon registration:
- · Official ID (national ID card, passport or residence permit)
- · Active SIRET business number (verified on the INSEE registry)
- · Professional postal address
- · Professional profile photo (face visible, no logo)
Incomplete or inconsistent files are returned to the provider for correction. Until identity is verified, the provider receives no bookings.
2 — Sector compliance
We check they are allowed to practise.
Depending on the trade, we request the regulatory documents that apply — the ones whose absence is a legal ground to forbid practice:
- · Home cooking, private chef — HACCP food hygiene training
- · Sports coach, instructor — EAPS professional card (Sports & Physical Activities Educator)
- · Passenger transport — VTC card and professional insurance
- · Skipper, crewed boat rental — qualification and maritime insurance
- · Childcare — official approval and criminal record extract (B3)
- · All trades — professional liability insurance suited to the activity
When a provider cannot supply the document required by their regulation, we do not refer them. No exceptions.
3 — Reviewed bio
We read what they write before you do.
The tagline, the list of services and each service description are reviewed by our team before publication:
- · No claim that cannot hold up ("best in the Gulf", "number one"…)
- · No mention of a diploma or label not supported by a document on file
- · Prices in line with local market practice in the Gulf
- · Neutral, descriptive, verifiable language

Our role, your choice. Capisco audits and screens providers, but remains an intermediary. The service is delivered and invoiced by the provider directly. Our screening filters out profiles that don’t hold up, but does not replace your own judgement after exchanging with the provider.
